The 18th International Summer School on the theme "Advanced Planning of Affordable, Safe and Sustainable Energy" will be organized in the Ethno Village "Čardaci" in Vitez, which will be held from August 10 to 19.
This transformative event is organised with the generous support of the European Climate Foundation (ECF) and the EU4 Energy Transition: Covenant of Mayors project in the Western Balkans and Turkey, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
In the Western Balkans, the project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as part of the Open Regional Fund for South East Europe: Energy, Transport and Climate Protection.
As the organizers announced, the ten-day program will cover environmental, socio-economic, legal and technological issues that need to be considered in the direction of transition to renewable energy and future green growth.
Interactive lectures will focus on topics that are currently of the utmost importance globally, especially for Southeast Europe.
The insights, knowledge and practical experiences of international lecturers will undoubtedly enrich the intellectual discourse and broaden participants' understanding of advanced energy planning.
Participants will have a unique opportunity to socialize with leading thinkers, exchange ideas and explore innovative solutions to promote affordable, safe and sustainable energy practices.
