Everything is ready for "Jump to Kazan", XXI International Competition in extreme jumping in water, which will be held tomorrow at 4 pm on the main city beach in Konjic.
"On Saturday, 18 jumpers from all over the region will try to get the best possible evaluations from the expert jury. We are glad that several thousand visitors will gather on the beach Stari Pazar in Konjic, lovers of extreme jumps into the Neretva River. Jumps are performed from a height of 18 meters in the Neretva River in a place called Kazan. Kazan is 2×2 meters deep, bordered by rocks at a depth of one meter, which gives the jumps a special charm and raises adrenaline, both competitors and the audience. This event would be impossible to hold without the sponsors of the Municipality of Konjic, and sponsors of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Tourist Board of the Croatian National Theatre, the Government of the Croatian National Theatre, BH Telecom, Energy3, Eurosjaja, Garden City, Leda, Amko, Igman... All of them have contributed to Konjic being the center of BiH on Saturday," say the organizers of "Jump to Kazan".
The title of the best jumper is defended by the excellent Dino Bajrić from Sarajevo.
"I've started jumping from that jump and I've done a lot of jumps so far. When I came to Konjic, I used to jump 12-13 times from that rock in one day. I've been competing for years and every time it's a new experience. The hardest thing for me is to defend the title of the best. We are all competitors and everyone who comes here is the best in terms of region. If I make a small mistake, the judges see and it can ultimately cost me a good result," says Dino Bajrić.
