The Orchestra of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold a concert, as part of the Baščaršija Night Festival, today starting at 8.15 pm at one of the most beautiful locations of Sarajevo - at the symbolic site of the Memorial Complex of the Vraca Memorial Park.
Today at 6 p.m., the Orchestra of The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina will pass through the center of Sarajevo, from the Eternal Fire, through Ferhadija Street to Sebilj and back, and on that occasion the brass orchestra will perform part of the repertoire and thus "invite" the audience to a concert that will be held at a symbolic place where, among other things, the names of 2,000 Sarajevans killed in the fight against fascism during World War II are inscribed.
Among others, national heroes were buried there: Vladimir Perić-Valter, Omer Maslić, Slaviša Vajner-Čiča, Slobodan Princip-Seljo, Bane Šurbat, Adem Buća, Mustafa Dovadžija, Radojka Lakić, Vaso Miskin, etc.
The orchestra will perform a diverse program of evergreen songs by groups and singers such as Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, etc. in arrangements for the wind orchestra, organizers said.
