Sarajevo is the regional center of cultural events for the third day already. The largest youth film festival in Southeast Europe - the 15th Telemach Youth Film Festival brought many musical and film stars from the region and Europe to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The festival fever, which lasts until late at night on Saturday, attracted thousands of visitors, and the Festival Directorate says they expect 18,000 visitors.
The festival atmosphere starts already at 12 o'clock, when the Youth Theater is scheduled to hang out with Emina Smajić as part of the OFF Talks program.
From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Youth Theater, viewers have the opportunity to enjoy the OFF Shorts program, after which a conversation with members of the film crew is planned, and open-air cinemas will also bring great film productions tonight, according to the Festival Directorate.
The Vils Summer Screen open-air cinema will host a screening of the award-winning BiH director Jasmila Žbanić's film "Grbavica", which won the "Golden Bear" award at the Berlinale festival. The film was also a BiH candidate for the Oscar award, and it will be shown at the festival in the new OFF Retrospective program.
Visitors to the festival will also have the opportunity to watch the Polish film "EO", which was this year's candidate for the Oscar award, in the Poli Open Air Gimnazijska open-air cinema from 9 p.m.
Visitors to Ilidža Open Air will be able to enjoy the German-Spanish performance "The Path" from 8:30 p.m.
Tickets can be downloaded at tickets.omladinski.ba or at the Box office on the square in front of the Youth Theatre. Box office hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Youth Film Festival announced.
