The twelfth international exhibition "Artists to Sarajevo" will be held in Gazi Husrev-bey's Hanikah in Sarajevo, from 13 to 27 July.
The exhibition will feature artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Croatia, Belarus, Russia, Mexico, Greece, USA.
The artistic council consists of: Edin Numankadić, Adis Lukač, Ilonka Jasak, Mirsada Baljić.
"Through the exhibition "Artists to Sarajevo", we want to show the position of artists in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, as well as artists from the region and around the world. The project will contribute to cultural content as well as the promotion of the artistic and cultural scene of the city of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With this project, we want to offer the opportunity to communicate artists of different profiles with each other, with the public and a wider audience. The artists will exhibit their works imbued with light and energy that combines and unites diversity, the trail of their own understandings and creativity," the organizers said.
To date, within this project, 11 international exhibitions have been successfully organized, which were held during July in Gazi Husrev-bey's Hanikah, and for three years by the decision of the author of the project. The organization of the exhibition is realized through the Association of Artists Art Koloni, Sarajevo.
Artists from many countries have participated in this project: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, USA, Turkey, Cyprus, Russia, Great Britain, Albania, Ukraine, Netherlands, Kuwait, Germany, Egypt, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Azerbaijan, Iran, Italy, Finland, Bulgaria, France, South Korea, Sweden.
In the previous eleven exhibitions, about 1,000 works of art were exhibited, various techniques: oil and acrylic on canvas, watercolors, prints, drawings, sculptures, art photographs, video works.
