For the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an orange warning has been issued for today due to the high air temperature, which will be between 33 and 38 degrees Celsius, while it is possible that the areas of Banja Luka and Prijedor will be affected by showers with thunderstorms.
The warning was issued for the period from 12.00 to 17.00, it was published on the website of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.
A warning due to showers with thunderstorms was issued for the area of Banja Luka, in the period from 17.00 to 23.59, and Prijedor from 16.00 to the end of the day.
The statement said that high daily air temperatures can lead to health risks among vulnerable people, for example the elderly and the very young.
