The newly appointed director of the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija took over this position today.
Tegeltija took over the duties from outgoing director Miro Džakula at the ITA BiH headquarters in Banja Luka.
On May 18, Zoran Tegeltija was appointed director of the Indirect Taxation Authority, and until his appointment he held the position of Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The name of the new Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH is not yet known, although it was announced that it will be known until the handover of the duties of the DIRECTOR OF ITA.
The media reported earlier that the new minister could be a councilor of the SNSD in the Banja Luka City Assembly and an associate professor at the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka, Srdjan Amidzic, but there was no official confirmation of that.
What is known is that this function should definitely belong to the SNSD cadre, because according to the coalition agreement it belongs to them.
As of today, this ministry will be headed by The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Muhamed Hasanovic (SDP), until the completion of the procedure for appointing a new minister.
The decision on the appointment of a new minister is made by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Borjana Krišto, and is confirmed by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
