In Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 2023 to 2026, economic growth can be expected with an average rate of about three percent annually, stated from the Directorate for Economic Planning of BiH in the Information on Prospects.
The expected economic growth this year is two percent, in the next 2.7 percent, in 2025 three percent, and in 2026 3.3 percent.
The mainstay of this projected economic growth will be domestic demand through an increase in private consumption and to a lesser extent investment, according to the Directorate.
On the other hand, somewhat slower growth rates of imports and exports are expected during this period, so that the contribution of the external sector, i.e. net exports, is mostly neutral with a tendency to slightly improve.
