ZADA Pharmaceuticals d.o.o., one of the leading Bosnian and Herzegovinian pharmaceutical manufacturers with 100% domestic ownership, recently opened the African market for its high-quality products in the field of pharmaceutical industry.
The first quantities of products have already been shipped to Somalia and soon a new contingent of medicines and dietary supplements intended for hospitals and pharmacies there is being delivered.
These are all 150 products with the ZADA Pharmaceuticals label – prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements.
"We waited until after exporting the first container of medicines, we received feedback on customer satisfaction and the effectiveness of our products. Given that a new delivery of the entire assortment is coming soon and in a very short time, it is clear that the reactions are extremely positive. By exporting to Somalia, we have opened the African market, as one of the fastest growing in the world and we hope that this will be the beginning of a success story, not only for us, but also for the Bosnian pharmaceutical industry as a whole. It is important to point out, and this is actually the argument that delighted our African partners, that all our medicines and dietary supplements, therefore everything ZADA produces, is of the same quality, whether they are intended for the domestic, EU, Asian or African market. After all, in addition to our corporate ethics, this is guaranteed by the EU GMP quality control standard, as the highest in the pharmaceutical industry, and only a few manufacturers can boast that they own it", said Esad Zahirović, Member of the Management Board of ZADA Pharmaceuticals d.o.o..
Zahirović pointed out that the company continues to expand both on domestic and foreign markets and that new generic drugs and dietary supplements are in the final stage of realization.
"Following the recent finding of partners for the Asian markets of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, Somalia is the fourth new market for this company this year. The strategy of expanding the company's exports in the time ahead will be directed to the EU market and the rest of the Middle East countries," Zahirovic explains.
ZADA Pharmaceuticals d.o.o. is one of the leading Bosnian and Herzegovinian drug manufacturers with 100% domestic ownership and annual production capacity of 3 billion tablets and 300 million capsules for about 150 generic drugs.
